turksat satellite communication and cable tv operation as, is the only satellite operator company in turkey, has been founded as a publicly owned and privately operated company. turksat as also has 75% of the shares of eurasiasat sam, jointly established a spin-off company with alcatel space in 1996 to manufacture and launch turksat 2a (eurasiasat 1) in 2001. the company is one of the world's leading satellite operators with its high-tech infrastructure that gives all types of the satellite communications through turksat and other satellites.
turksat as provides flexible service to people all over the world with its satellites turksat 1b, turksat 1c, turksat 2a and eurasiasat-1 in a wide range lying from europe to asia. ın addition to tv/radio broadcasting and domestic cable services; company also provides rural area telephone communication, emergency communication, ınternational telephone communication, ınternet access, ınmarsat marine communication, galileo europe gps and corporate network services over satellite.
