1. INTRODUCTION

T
he use of quantum structures such as quantum wells and quantum barriers for designing novel sub millimeter devices has been developing with an increasing speed in recent years. Quantum Barrier Varactor (QBV) devices are being used in frequency multiplying with a great success. An application of Single Barrier Varactors (SBV) and Multiple QBV devices and also Monte Carlo Simulation results are printed in one of Abou-Khalil’s paper [1]. Design examples of Heterostructure Barrier Varactors (HBV), which is nothing but the multiple usage of SBV in the same diode, [2] can be found in the literature.
