1. INTRODUCTION
I have completed my 20 work days of summer practice at Aselsan Akyurt facility, MGEO Production Unit’s Test Department under the supervision of Doğuş Benli.
The test department controls whether the products work correctly or not. If there is a problem, they determine the cause of the problem in various ways and then send the product for fixing. In the mean time, I will be able to see other departments of the Aselsan’s Akyurt and Macunköy facilities and have some information about how other departments work and I will be able to observe how a factory works.
In this report, you will find information about Aselsan and MGEO Division, several departments of Aselsan, some safety measures like electrostatic discharge (ESD), the procedures to test the products and to use the test devices and finally my observations about this summer practice.
