i. INTRODUCTION

I have completed my summer 20 days of practice at the ASELSAN A. Ş. Communications Division Tactical Communication System Engineering Department under the supervision of Özlem Özbay, Ülkü Öktel and Kerem Erikçi .
Since Tactical Communication System Engineering Department manages a project from start to finish, researches technologies and does simulations, in this summer practice, in addition to hands-on practice on technical subjects, I learned a lot on managing a project and organizing departments that are participating in the project.
In this report detailed information on Wireless LAN technology and IEEE 802.11 standards can be found. After that BER simulations report is also added. Before all of this, brief company information is given.
