3. REPORT

For the convenience of reading, I have chosen a week-by-week style in writing
for the report. Each part contains everything that I have done in Mobilsoft in that
week of my summer practice. They are a breef summary of the weekly reports that I
have written in the company for inspection of my work.

• First Week
On these first days of my summer practice we have been introduced the staff
in our department and the team that we will be working with – Nemesis’s team under
R&D Department of Meteksan Sistem A.S. Knowledge and Education Unit. After this
introduction we have been shown our desks and our desktop computers that we will
practice on.
Formatting this computer and installing all necessary tools for development
took my first day because of the backing up of the important data on that computer.
Also on that day we have a meeting with the head of the R&D Department – Veysi
Isler. He gave us some brief introduction to the organizational structure of Meteksan
System Inc. And the projects that they were working on. Especially more attention
has been taken on the Open TV games for the digital television platforms. We have
been also shown some sample of OpenTV games that they developed before.
